There are several critical ways to prepare before you start on your color project, as well as some things you should consider as you go. If you plan to deal with any of your rooms with a hammer brush, it is a good idea to make sure you get closer to it.

With that in mind, we turned to the expert for some instructions and advice.

First security

• Painters tape

Prepare surfaces

Of course, there are many options adapted to budgets, but Piry says you should continue with caution when it comes to choosing the right brand.

“Quality products provide better coverage, saving time and money reducing the need for an additional coat – especially when you make a color change,” he says.

Don’t rush with that other coat
