Is that good?
Solid performances by the main cast, beautiful pictures and heart stories bring this dramatic version of the classic musical Music sound to life. Based on actual events described in the autobiography of Agatha von Trapp, the film highlights characters and details new with viewers. Is especially moving (and, Spoiler warningIn the end, it is broken) is the relationship between Agatha and her life friend, Sigi. Colonel von Trapp As played by Matthew MacFadyen HePao is also present and provides burdened contrast with an agathy growing understanding of the events to follow. The film represents the relationship of the Von Trapp family with the famous opera star Lotte Lehman (Annette Dasch). All in all, a beautiful addition to iconic musical, and the film is also standing alone. Fine penalty for families; However, two impressive deaths make it questionable for very young or super sensitive children.

Families can talk about how filmmakers often use a personal story to proceed to the history on the screen. How to watch the drama of the Von Trapp family promotes the understanding of what is experiencing the whole Europe during the growth of Nazism? Did the roots of world war make you more clearly?

Discuss the differences between the real Sigia, Agathe’s young man in this film, and invented Rolf, the messenger with whom Liesl was in love with Music sound. Why do you think that the filmmakers decided to make Rolfo Nazi sympathizer? How can he show the actual story about Siga changed your feelings for the musical?

What was the purpose of telling a story in Flashbacks from the view of the older agatha? How did the remember story echoed in today’s day? What does that say about the community of human experience with time and place?
Did we miss something on diversity?
