What is the story like?
The magnetosphere is the story of 13-year-old Maggie (Shayelin Martin), who recently moved with his family to the new city in Ontario. It’s like a new school and trying to fit in, it’s not enough, she’s starting to see he sees strange things when he hears sounds and hears strange things when he notices colors. You think something is wrong with her and wanting to fit in most of all, Maggie tries to hide what happens, as long as one of her teachers doesn’t doubt he has sinezesia and recommends advising with a neurologist. Meanwhile, Maggie navigates life ascent and downs, like her first love and be someone else’s first love. Through all this can Maggie learn to accept yourself and see yourself how others see it?
Is that good?
This is a strange, gentle story of age that will encase empathy and understanding neurodivergence, especially sinesthesia. In Maggie (Shayelin Martin), Magnetosphere It shows a figure that is easy for tween and teenagers to relate while fighting school, friends, love and wanting to fit in.
It is surrounded by eccentric adults whose activities, such as GIL (Colin Mochrie), which is not resolved by rats, and her father (Patrick McKenna), who are directed by music for the local community, or as if you were added to add the film to length. Action differs in quality, but the way Maggien sinesthesia is displayed on the screen is innovative and colorful.
