If you did not know that the vinegar is a Swiss house cleaner and gardening hacks – now. Whether it is replaced by cleaning or as an effective weed killer, vinegar seems to be able to do everything. You may have heard that you can use and vinegar to kill bugs, but does it work for all of them?

Gnats are often one of the biggest headaches of the summer, so we asked Pest professional, if the vineyers could help save the day.

Does vinegar kill the fiction?

Unfortunately, independent vinegar is not enough to solve your problem for the infestation of the Gnat.

“I personally used several chirgers mixtures, and I didn’t find anything good,” Matt Smith, the Green Pest Management and a licensed pest control technician. “Yes, he killed something, but only a fraction of what it was.”

Experts like dr. Hamilton Allen, authenticated Commissioniologist and the Vice President of Technical and Security in FOS for FOS pest control, actually says that the use of vinegar against GNATS could worsen your infection.

“Contrary to the popular belief, vinegar attracts gnjate and fruit flies, not refuse them,” says Allen, “a sour scent associated with vinegar is vinegar, which is attracted to flies.”

If you are planning to use the wine killing of Gnath, Allen recommends spill of several ounces of vinegar in a bowl and adding some dish soap. You can hope that the gnuts will attract the vinegar and drown, but, as Smith also said, this may not kill enough flies to actually catch your problem.

Two things you can do instead of getting rid of the gnatt

Since Smith says DIY vinegar methods were not most effective in their opinion, he shared two methods that actually solved his Gnat problems.

“First, we put sticky traps in those same surfaces with little food on them,” he shared. “Second, we found the source and kicked it out. Gnats are the problem of the source; take care of that source, and the problem goes fast quickly.”

For example, if you have closed plants and the most noticed gnati around them, bring plants out there to let their soil dry. This should significantly reduce your Gnat infestation.

Allen also recommends finding sources of infection as the most efficient method to get rid of these poets.

“A small piece of decaying the fruit hidden under your fridge is enough food for female fruit flying to start a family,” he said. “You can also pour bacterial digesters in the drain to reduce the amount of construction in their sinks. Boiling water does not work enough to remove flies” for feeding or growing materials inside “.
