Squirrels are known for guest appearances for birds and, because for their ability to reach high places and jump in bold distances, no bird investor often appears. Not only not only eat on the nutritional food you kicked for your feathered friends, but make up a giant mess in the process, too, and everywhere seed.

Fortunately, there are more than a few natural ways to turn away squirrels from your bird feeder, leaving the bird food. Here are 12 ways you can keep squirrels from the bird feeder.

Use a barrier on your bird feeder

The cover is a top in the form of a cone, often made of metal, which goes to the top of your bird’s harvester. This piece of metal can cross over the hanging investor, and creates an unstable, smooth surface that the squirrel will not be able to hang on.

Without but to catch, the squirrels will slide right away and, hopefully, find out that this feeder is not open to work.

Try Saflon Seeds

While, in the end, the squirrels will eat almost everything, there are some seeds that are less attractive than others.

Safflon seeds, which are from a striking annual plant, are usually not the first selection of squirrels. It may leave your feeder only if you use Safflon seeds in it, but the birds will continue to enjoy them.

Make cinnamon spray

There are certain scents that are completely inappropriate on the squirrel, and one of them is cinnamon. If you make water spray with cinnamon, cayenne or paprika, you will have a seemingly magic potion to discard from the squirrel.

Store it regularly on the indentation of your bird and take care of re-spraying any rain time.

Pick up after birds

Although the squirrels have a strong scent, it is not usually an aroma of the seed of birds that do not pull them out. The squirrel could run when they saw several seeds scattered. They look up, and there is – a bird feeder.

If you mix regularly where the bird feeder you could prevent squirrel from ever knowing it is there.

Put your leverse high

We all saw the squirrels pull impressive cascades, jumping from one tree to the next with a seemable minimal effort. But they’re not birds, they can’t fly, and they don’t want to regularly like to jump in a bold distance.

Typically if your feeder is greater than five feet and away from seven feet from the tree, you may be safe from curious squirrels that want to jump for their food.

Feed the squirrel

The squirrels that searched your brain for birds probably don’t really starve, but it doesn’t hurt to give them their own grilling plumbs to distract them.

Put the retractor on the ground and fill it with peanut or dried corn – two of their favorite foods. It is hope that the squirrel will be distracted and well fed, so it will not take care of your birds anymore.

Get a squirrel feeder

Sometimes it’s just like the bird feeder so squirrels can’t go in. Bird-resistant squirrels have opening whistling cannot come in and, in some cases, birds flowing on them.

Create a course of obstacles

Place two poles at least seven feet away, then draw a bird’s supply on the wire between the pillars. On both sides, a series of empty bottles of soda. When squirrels try to cross the way to the investor, they will find that they are unable to stay balanced in smooth bottles, but it will be a toilet for any bird.

Put slinky on the pole

Although this can be made silly when you are in the trafficking toys for the first time in decades, it is actually a great way to create a cheap barrier in the squirrel entry.

Weak immediately below your bird investor so the squirrels will hit it before they reach the feeder. Slinky will move down a half, giving a squirrel a beautiful vehicle lift to the ground.

Hang a strong soap near the investor

You may see a shower in the morning with a waved soap as a refreshing, but the squirrel can’t stand so strong, fresh smell. Hang the soap bar in the socks near the investor in the hope that the scent will keep the squirrels away.

Use the smell of animal urine

If the squirrel smells in the urine of one of your predators will remain far away. You can buy Coyote urine in stores for improving houses or online, and spray on your flying bird flush to repel the squirrels. You will need to spray again a week and after each rain.

Build a copper or PVC feeder

Watching a squirrel seamen up a metal or wooden column shows you that they did it before. Squirrels are skilled to move to high places, but if you choose a pillar made of copper or PVC, not metal or wood, create an enemy squirrel environment, which you want to hold them.
