Get a distraction

According to Dolshun, your best first step is an investment in the dehumidifier.

“This is essentially a cut off main attraction for a silver fish,” he says.

If the silver fish is constant, or a big, problem, moisture levels are definitely something you need to track movement forward – especially in the warehouse.

Remove all potential food sources

If you already have signs of infection, it could be time to remove. You will need to solve any books, paper or cardboard boxes.

“Silverfish Love materials based on cellulose,” says Dolshun. “If you store things in the long run, skip a card and go straight for plastic buckets.”

Try to sprinkle diatomine country

After these two critical attractions they were resolved, false traps to get rid of any silver fish. Dolshun recommends diatogy country, a natural alternative to sharp insecticides that come as a powdery substance that can be easily sprinkled in problem areas.

“Sprinkle him in the cracks, behind the appliance or anywhere you saw the activity,” Dolshun says. “It is inexchell about people and pets, but deadly in insects because they harm their exoskiles and dehydrates them.”

However, you should only be used after remove excess moisture.

“When the sailing is the land wet, he doesn’t work,” he says.

Skip Cedar

If you heard that Cedar blocks and bags can reject silver fish, Dolshun disagrees.

“This method tries to hide the smell of cashmere and clothing from mistakes,” he says. “This is not working on silver fish.”

Don’t go too big

While the sprays and chemicals were purchased and chemicals can be effective, Dolshun says they are often too heavy for a silver fish – at least in the beginning.

“You need to take care of the moist environments and cut off potential food sources before any spray can be really effective,” he says. “This is going to end with them.”

Prevent future infections

Once you have cleaned any existing silver fish – or even if you worry about an exhilaration in the future – Dolshun suggests a stepping step to prevent their future friends from being beaten.

“Sealing gaps around Belabora, openings, especially water line will be crucial here,” he says.
