All interior design professionals advise against the decorating of your home with figurines and lawns in the form of wooden creatures, gnomes or signs with inspiring sayings.

“You can see how they can dilute the sophistication of the home,” says Isfira Jensen, General Manager and the main designer Jensen & Co. “Do you want the exterior of your home to be more invitative, sophisticated or more welcoming. These elements do not usually borrow to it.”

O’Brien suggests the movement of decorative personality from the front of the house in the yard, where they can be placed on the external tables, a paved yard or in a floral bed.

Outdated vacation rests

After Christmas, Halloween or Easter, experts recommend immediately lowering these decorations. Maintaining the Implement of the holiday can do the external appearance of your home.

“It’s obviously just down or maybe add some kind of clear light that is more suitable for all year round and doesn’t look like a holiday,” says Jennifer Beget, owner and the main designer J ban J.

Incorrect external equipment

Jensen suggests that he looks after the handles of doors and handles that are not the same kind of metal or external light nodes that do not match. The same goes for an external house elements like a side and roof.

“It seems that not a lot of consideration was placed in ensuring that everything coincides, and then it starts to look a little obsolete,” she says. “The rest of the house can look absolutely spectacular, but your eyes definitely stand out.”

A small garden can be great for the front of your house, but not if the plants yellow or the laundry.

“The plants are really pleasing when they are healthy and happy,” says O’Brien. “Take care of the plants and make sure you choose a plant that will be well in the climate, it will be found on your front input area.”

Even if you use artificial flowers in the garden, they will warn that their colors can start fading and can start breaking up if they are not protected UV.

Excessive decorated front door

The front door can tell you a lot about someone’s home, but Jensen recommends going by coming with a simpler design from something with complex glass, more colors or metal inserts.

“They just don’t really work with the style of the house,” she says, “or are so incredibly decorated to hold on to the characteristics, and they just make up the entire facade of space they look nicer and cheaply look.”

It suggests the installation of solid colored doors that are more toned with glass features that do not go through the ship.

Ill maintained front porch or inlet road

No matter what you have with the front door, if it is covered with dust and spider, does not make a good impression. The same goes for faded or dirty mat door or dirty entrance doors that show wear and peeling.

“Occasionally, power should be swallowed or at least recorded,” says O’Brien. “I think these are things most of us don’t think about doing very often, but really make your home much less polished.”
