In addition, she opted for the trendy style of the door to raise, which he says he regrets.

“The elevator style looks cool, but angry at the level of your eyes and can feel like it’s on the way when I use space,” she says. “I would replace the lift door for a double pocket door.”

Functionally, however, space still works and looks beautiful. For Myrick, it’s a sharp lesson learned, and she will no longer make the same mistakes for his clients.
